Mr. Scott Engel hails from Catonsville, MD in Baltimore County. He earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s in Music Education from Towson University. Previously, Mr. Engel was the band director at Perry Hall High School in Baltimore County where his ensembles consistently earned “Superior” ratings. You can hear Mr. Engel perform in the summer at the Hagerstown City Park with the Hagerstown Municipal Band. He is also a member of “Charm City Steel,” a professional steel drum ensemble based out of Catonsville featuring members who are all graduates of Catonsville High School.

 

Mr. Engel and his wife Meghan live in Hagerstown, MD with his two children, Lucas and Luna.​
